Meet Dr. Amar Patel: hometown roots, advanced dental care

A proud Moorestown native, Dr. Amar Patel always knew he wanted to be part of the healthcare world. But it wasn’t until he shadowed a local dentist that he found his passion for dentistry. The unique combination of science, artistry, and long-term patient relationships inspired him to pursue a path in dental care, and he’s never looked back.

Dr. Patel earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Philosophy minor from Haverford College, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Sciences. He went on to complete an internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Shock Trauma Hospital, deepening his experience with surgical dentistry and trauma care. Now with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Patel continues to bring compassionate, advanced dental treatment to the same community he grew up in.
